URAP has announced the best and most successful public universities of 2025. Six universities from Istanbul made the list.
URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance), which ranks universities in Turkey based on their academic achievements, has shared its 2025 ranking of public universities with the public. The most significant change noted in this year's list occurred at the very top.
Among URAP's evaluation criteria, the number of academic publications, citation rates, and the number of scientific projects conducted stood out. According to the released data, Turkey's top 20 public universities were determined, and each was ranked along with their analysis scores. One of the most notable details of the list is that exactly 6 public universities from Istanbul found a place in this prestigious ranking.
