Harsh criticism from İmamoğlu regarding the LGS exam
Ekrem İmamoğlu made statements on social media regarding allegations of irregularities in the LGS exam.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu shared a post on his social media account regarding allegations that exam questions were provided in advance to certain schools in the High School Entrance Exam (LGS).
Stating that there has never been a period in the past where exam questions were not stolen, Ekrem İmamoğlu emphasized that authorities must reassure the public.
İmamoğlu expressed that these allegations, which have emerged regarding an exam for which millions of students have prepared with great effort and dreams, are supported by serious evidence and that he is following the matter with sadness.
Stating that it is difficult to expect justice from the current system, İmamoğlu said that the future of children should not be surrendered to darkness.
İmamoğlu stated that this situation must be investigated urgently and transparently, and expressed that those responsible must be punished.
Furthermore, he drew attention to the importance of finding a fair path of compensation for the concerned students. İmamoğlu concluded his remarks by saying, "Do not play with the future of our children!"
