Have the November 2024 MEB teacher seminars started?

The mid-term break, which provides a 9-day holiday for millions of students, has begun, and teachers will be attending seminars. There is curiosity about whether the teacher seminars are being conducted via ÖBA. Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin had announced that the seminars to be held between November 11-15 would be online. So, have the 2024 teacher seminars started, and when will they begin? With the start of the November mid-term break, the seminars organized for teachers began on November 11. It was announced that participating teachers can access the seminars, which will continue until November 15, through the ÖBA platform.

WHERE WILL TEACHER SEMINARS BE WATCHED?

The November seminars can be watched online by teachers via ÖBA (Teacher Informatics Network). The statement made by the MEB regarding the teacher seminars is as follows;

"Our administrators and teachers will carry out the professional development work they are required to do between November 11-15, 2024, through remote in-service training via the ÖBA (oba.gov.tr) platform."

WHEN DO THE SEMINARS END?

The following statements were included in the announcements made by the MEB regarding the end time of the seminars:

“The training must be completed by 23:59 on Sunday, November 17, 2024."

This activity was organized to ensure that teachers working in schools and institutions affiliated with our Ministry are informed about the "Century of Turkey Education Model Curricula."
