HOW TO APPLY FOR A KYK SCHOLARSHIP?

Scholarship/loan applications are received via e-Devlet between the dates announced to the public through print and visual media each year. Students who do not have an e-Devlet password must go to PTT branches to obtain one or possess one of the other e-Devlet login methods (internet banking, e-signature, mobile signature, T.C. identity card).

During the application process, information regarding the student's economic, social, and educational status is requested, and this information is verified by comparing it with data obtained from public institutions. As a result of the evaluation, scholarships are awarded to a number of students determined according to the budget, while student loans are provided to all other students whose status complies with the regulations.

WHICH STUDENTS ARE GIVEN PRIORITY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS?

• Children of martyrs (or their unmarried siblings if the martyr was unmarried),

• Children of veterans (or the veterans themselves if they are unmarried),

• Students determined to have a disability of 40% or higher by a medical board report,

• Those whose mother and father are deceased,

• Those who completed their high school or equivalent education while residing in orphanages affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services,

• Those who completed their high school or equivalent education at Darüşşafaka High School,

• Students who are amateur national athletes.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR KYK SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS?

Students who can benefit from the scholarship include:

Associate degree students,
Undergraduate students,
Graduate (Master's and PhD) students (scholarships are not provided during the preparatory year)
Students who graduate from two-year schools and enroll in the third year of four-year schools via the vertical transfer exam (DGS) without a break (scholarships are not provided during the adaptation or preparatory year),
Students who rank in the top 100 in the score type determined based on raw scores in the ÖSYM exam results,
Students who are amateur national athletes according to the criteria determined by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Institution's Establishment Law, can benefit from the scholarship.
Note: A student cannot receive both a scholarship and a student loan at the same time.
