KYK announces: Scholarship and loan payments have begun

The General Directorate of Credit and Dormitories (KYK) has announced that payments to students whose scholarship and loan applications have been accepted began today.

In a statement made on KYK's social media account, it was announced that the October and November payments will be made together.

The statement from KYK is as follows;

"Payments Have Begun! October and November payments for new students receiving student loans and scholarships are being made together! According to the last digit of the Turkish ID number (TCKN): those with "0" and "2" will be deposited on 28.11.2023, those with "4" and "6" on 29.11.2023, and those with "8" on 30.11.2023."

WHERE ARE KYK SCHOLARSHIPS DEPOSITED?

Students can make their payments using their Turkish ID number via the "e-Payment Section" or "Repayment Section" on the website https://kygm.gsb.gov.tr/, or they can also use T.C. Ziraat Bank ATMs or internet banking. Students can pay their installments before the due date. The payments they make are deducted from their installments. Those who pay their installments after the last business day of each month are considered to have not paid on time.

HOW MUCH IS THE KYK SCHOLARSHIP?

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that they have increased the 2024 loan and scholarship figures to 2 thousand liras for undergraduate students, 4 thousand for master's students, and 6 thousand liras for doctoral students.
