MEB responds to claims that 'summer vacation is being shortened': It does not reflect the truth

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin was alleged to have announced that the summer vacation period would be shortened by about 20 days.

NEW ACADEMIC YEAR CALENDAR

The 2024-2025 academic year calendar will be as follows:

1st Term mid-term break: November 11-15, 2024

Semester break: January 20, 2025 – January 31, 2025

2nd Term mid-term break: March 31, 2025 – April 4, 2025

Start of summer vacation: September 9, 2024

End of summer vacation: June 20, 2025
