Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak announced that the 2024-2025 KYK scholarship and loan applications have started.
Applications for scholarships and loans, provided annually by the Credit and Hostels Institution (KYK) to provide financial support to students during their education, can be made via e-Devlet.
UNTIL WHEN WILL KYK LOAN AND DORMITORY APPLICATIONS CONTINUE?
When the 2024 KYK scholarship applications would begin became a subject of curiosity with the start of the university academic term. Applications can be made via the e-Devlet system until 23:59 on October 13.
HOW TO APPLY FOR KYK DORMITORY AND SCHOLARSHIPS?
Scholarship/loan applications are received via e-Devlet between the dates announced to the public through written and visual media each year. Students who do not have an e-Devlet password must go to PTT branches to obtain one or possess one of the other e-Devlet login methods (internet banking, e-signature, mobile signature, T.C. identity card).
During the application, information regarding the student's economic, social, and educational status is requested, and this information is verified by comparing it with data obtained from public institutions.
As a result of the evaluation, scholarships are awarded to a number of students determined according to the budget, and student loans are provided to all other students whose status complies with the regulations.
HOW TO RECEIVE A PRIORITY SCHOLARSHIP?
• Children of martyrs (or their unmarried siblings if the martyr was unmarried),
• Children of veterans (or the veterans themselves if they are unmarried),
• Students determined to have a disability of 40% or higher with a medical board report,
• Those whose mother and father are deceased,
• Those who completed their high school and equivalent education while residing in foster homes affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services,
• Those who completed their high school and equivalent education at Darüşşafaka High School,
• Students who are amateur national athletes.
