Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin announced that there will be no flexibility regarding absenteeism in schools.
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin answered questions from Kanal7 Ankara Representative Mehmet Acet.
Minister Tekin also responded to a question regarding whether there would be any flexibility concerning absenteeism in schools.
Stating that "there is no situation that warrants flexibility," Tekin said:
"While so many of our teacher colleagues are making sacrifices, while the state is building so many schools and classrooms, and while it is investing in education and training processes, I do not find it right for our children to spend time in environments other than school. We will continue to be determined on this matter."
