MALATYA

Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz announced that education has been suspended for 1 day due to snowfall.

In a post on his account on the social media platform X, Yavuz stated, "Dear students, it is assessed that the current snowfall will increase even more in the morning hours according to meteorological data. For this reason, it has been decided to suspend education and training for one day on Thursday, February 13, throughout our province. In addition, our disabled employees and pregnant personnel will also be considered on administrative leave."

BINGÖL

In the statement made by the Governorship, it was stated that the 13th Regional Directorate of Meteorology warned that heavy snowfall is expected throughout Bingöl starting from the early morning hours on Thursday, February 13.

In the statement, which stated that schools were closed tomorrow in all kinds of official and private schools and educational institutions in the city center and all districts as a precaution due to adverse weather conditions, it was noted that disabled and pregnant public officials working in the public sector would also be considered on administrative leave on the same day.

ELAZIĞ

Governor Numan Hatipoğlu stated in a post on his social media account that the current snowfall is expected to increase further in the morning hours according to meteorological data.

Stating that education will be suspended for February 13 for this reason, Hatipoğlu advised students to read books and study their lessons.

Hatipoğlu noted that disabled and pregnant public officials will also be considered on administrative leave on February 13.

KAYSERI

According to the written statement made by the Kayseri Governorship, it was stated that icing is expected along with heavy snowfall in the city tomorrow in line with the information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology.

The statement included the following expressions:

"In order to prevent possible negativities that may occur due to weather conditions, education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 13, 2025, by the decision of our Governorship in official and private nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, vocational training centers, non-formal education institutions, maturation institutes, special education courses, special education and rehabilitation centers throughout the province, taking into account the public employee and student mobility between the city center and districts for transport-based education."

In addition, the statement noted that disabled, severely chronically ill, and pregnant public employees will also be considered on administrative leave.

KIRŞEHIR

According to the written statement made by the Kırşehir Governorship, it was stated that heavy snowfall is expected throughout the city during the night and tomorrow during the day according to the latest meteorological evaluations.

The statement included the following expressions:

"Due to the adverse weather conditions that may occur, education has been suspended for 1 day on Thursday, February 13, 2025, including all official and private educational institutions, non-formal education centers, rehabilitation centers, Quran courses, and special education courses throughout the province."

Nevşehir Governor Ali Fidan announced in a post on his social media account that according to the data of the Provincial Directorate of Meteorology, the snowfall that will start at night is expected to continue throughout the day tomorrow, and in this context, education and training have been suspended on Thursday, February 13.

Stating that education and training have been suspended for one day in all official and private formal and non-formal education institutions, rehabilitation centers, and Quran courses throughout the province, Governor Fidan said in his post, "Pregnant, disabled, mothers whose children attend nursery and kindergarten and who have disabled children, and personnel with chronic illnesses working in our public institutions will be considered on administrative leave for one day."

Heavy snow negatively affected life in some districts of Konya.

Due to snowfall, it was announced that education was suspended on Thursday, February 13, for students studying in all primary and secondary schools in Halkapınar, Karapınar, Hadim, Ereğli, Emirgazi, and Taşkent districts, as well as for special education and rehabilitation centers.

ADANA

In the statement made by the Feke District Governorship, the expressions "Due to heavy snowfall and blizzard, education and training have been suspended for one day on Thursday, February 13, 2025, for primary and secondary school students whose access to schools is provided by transport-based education from our rural neighborhoods" were used.

AMASYA

In the written statement made by the Governorship, it was stated that icing is expected along with snowfall in the city tomorrow in line with the information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology.
