"Our Head Teacher, dear Atatürk, on the 95th anniversary of your acceptance of the Head Teachership of the Nation's Schools, we are in your presence together with our teachers who have come from all corners of our country and who are the guarantee of our future. As members of the most honorable profession, we are working in every place where our glorious flag waves to reach the ideals of our Republic, regarding each of our children as a torch of our future. In this historic process, where we are realizing the 100th anniversary of our Republic and setting out with the ideal of the 'Century of Turkey,' we are advancing with determination and resolve toward the goal you gave us: 'to rise above the level of contemporary civilizations.' Our teachers, the architects of our tomorrows, drawing strength from our deep-rooted history, will continue to raise our children with love for the homeland, the nation, and the Republic, and to enlighten them under the guidance of science and wisdom, along the path you have drawn. May your soul rest in peace."
