Unappointed teachers held a protest at Ulus Square in Ankara.
During the protest, a ballot box labeled "interview+low number" and a symbolic ballot box labeled "68,000 without interviews" were set up.

Before the general elections, teachers had been promised by President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that interviews would be abolished.
Former Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer had stated that appointments would be made based on KPSS scores without interviews.
The teachers also launched a hashtag on X titled #UlustaÖğretmeneAtama (Appointment for Teachers in Ulus).
