WHEN IS THE 2025 YKS?
The 2025 YKS will be held in three sessions on June 21-22.
Basic Proficiency Test (TYT): June 21, 2025
Field Proficiency Tests (AYT): June 22, 2025
Foreign Language Test (YDT): June 22, 2025
WHEN ARE YKS APPLICATIONS?
Applications for the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) will be accepted between February 6 and March 3, 2025. Candidates will be able to complete their applications through the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) Candidate Transactions System (AİS).
HAS THE YKS APPLICATION GUIDE BEEN PUBLISHED?
The YKS application guide has not been published yet. However, it is expected that ÖSYM will make the application guide available before February 6.
HOW TO APPLY FOR YKS?
Candidates applying for YKS will pay the exam fee determined according to the sessions they have chosen, either at one of the banks specified on the last page of the guide or via credit card or debit card in the "PAYMENTS" section under the "e-TRANSACTIONS" menu on the ÖSYM website within the specified period.
Candidates who wish to pay the fee by going to a bank must inform the bank clerk of their Turkish ID number and that they are paying the exam fee. Furthermore, it is important that they check the information on the receipt, such as the Turkish ID Number, full name, and exam name, and keep the receipt. Candidates can also pay their fees via internet banking, eliminating the need to go to a bank branch.
WHEN WILL YKS RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?
The results of the university entrance exam, the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), will be announced on July 22, 2025. Candidates will be able to view their exam results on the official website of ÖSYM.
