The countdown has begun for the November mid-term break in schools. According to the Ministry of National Education's 2024-2025 academic calendar, the mid-term break will take place between November 11 and 15, 2024. Students will leave school on Friday, November 8, and return to classes on Monday, November 18.

THE FIRST MID-TERM BREAK WILL BEGIN ON NOVEMBER 11
With the 2024-2025 academic calendar published by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), the mid-term break dates have been set. Accordingly, the first mid-term break in schools will be implemented from November 11 to 15, 2024.
Schools will actually close on Friday, November 8, and will reopen on Monday, November 18. When weekends are included, they are entitled to a total of 9 days of vacation.

THE SEMESTER BREAK IS NEXT
After the November mid-term break, students will return to their schools and will then wait for the semester break. According to the Ministry's calendar, the semester break will take place between January 20 and 31.
The timing for the second mid-term break has also been announced. Accordingly, students will be able to take their second mid-term break between March 31 and April 4, 2025. Schools will enter summer vacation on June 20.
