CHP files for recount of votes in Pendik
The CHP has filed an application with the District Election Board in Pendik for a recount of votes across the district.
The CHP has filed an objection to the election results in Istanbul's Pendik district following the March 31 Local Elections.
In the district, AKP candidate Ahmet Cin received 44.69 percent of the vote, while CHP candidate Tarık Balyalı received 42.78 percent.
If the Pendik District Election Board accepts the CHP's request, the votes in the district will be recounted.
AKP's Cin received 187 thousand 623 votes in the district, while CHP's Balyalı received 179 thousand 608 votes.
