Cuba's gift to the music world, members of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club, will perform as the Buena Vista All Stars at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre on June 21, returning after an 8-year hiatus.

Roger Sanchez, one of the world's best DJs, will meet his fans at Klein Phönix Park as the headliner of an event that begins outdoors in the early hours of June 21, the longest day of the year, and continues until late with an afterparty.

Ogün Sanlısoy will meet his fans at the Blind stage on June 22 at 22:00.

The Ocean and Bipolar Architecture are answering the calls of post-metal listeners. The two bands will share the IF Beşiktaş stage on June 21.

Unforgettable songs of the 90s are coming back to life as live performances accompanied by a DJ. The 90s Dance Night takes place every Friday and Saturday between 21:00 and 04:00 at the Sanat Performance Stage.

MOVIES HITTING THEATERS

The Bikeriders: Leading the list of foreign films hitting theaters is "The Bikeriders," starring Austin Butler, Jodie Comer, and Tom Hardy. Directed by Jeff Nichols, the film follows the rise of the Vandals, a Midwestern motorcycle club.

Sayara: Angel of Revenge: Starring Duygu Kocabıyık, Emre Kızılırmak, and Özgül Koşar, "Sayara: Angel of Revenge" stands out as the only domestic production of the week. Directed by Can Evrenol, the film tells the story of revenge sought by Sayara, a quiet gym cleaner from Turkmenistan, after her sister is killed by an out-of-control group of friends.

The Exorcism: The horror-thriller of the week is "The Exorcism," starring Russell Crowe. Directed by Joshua John Miller, the film follows Anthony, who is struggling to cope with the death of his wife, as he returns to his acting career after being cast in a horror movie, only to experience strange and disturbing changes during the shoot.

THEATER EVENTS

Stefan Zweig’s immortal work, the novel "Letter from an Unknown Woman," is brought to the stage with a magnificent performance by Dilara ESEN. "Letter from an Unknown Woman" will be at Üsküdar Sahne Hane on June 21, 2024.

Diary of a Madman: A madman on stage.. His name is Poprishchin. Poprishchin is a clerk working at a ministry. His only crime is not being a "nobleman." Deeply infatuated with his director's daughter (Sophie), Poprishchin learns that Sophie is to be married to a major. This situation has pushed his threshold of tolerance to the limit. It has also reminded him of certain truths; "Stars are only to be watched.." This idea condemns him to question status-related situations and face reality. In the war of thoughts he enters, Poprishchin migrates to his own utopia. He is now the King of Spain! Diary of a Madman will be performed at Üsküdar Sahne Hane on June 21, 2024.

ONGOING EXHIBITIONS

Located in Sultanahmet Square, Turkey's first digital experience museum, the Hagia Sophia History and Experience Museum, takes you back 1,500 years. Accompanied by the impressive voice of Selçuk Yöntem, you will witness the history of the Hagia Sophia and meet kings, queens, sultans, and other historical figures in the magical atmosphere of the past. It can be visited on June 21, 2024, between 08:00 and 18:00.

Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson's first solo exhibition in Turkey, "Your unexpected encounter," which opened at Istanbul Modern, will be open to art lovers until February 9, 2025.
