Following the March 31 local elections, calls for early elections are being made by segments of society, particularly retirees.

ASAL Research asked 2,000 people in 26 provinces between April 20-21, "If there were a parliamentary election this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?"

Striking results emerged from the study, which was conducted using the CATI method with a margin of error of +/- 1.95.

While the vote share of the AKP, which was 36.3 percent in the previous general election, fell to 32.2 percent, the CHP's vote share rose from 25.8 percent to 26.5 percent.

The MHP's vote share, which was 10.3 percent in the May 14 elections, fell to 9.8 percent, while the DEM Party's vote share, which was at the 9 percent level, rose to 9.1 percent.

BOTH LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY

The vote share of the IYI Party, which reached 9.90 percent in the May 14 elections, was measured at 5.6 percent. The IYI Party's vote share had also dropped by nearly half in the March 31 local elections.

It was observed that the YRP, which had a vote share of 2.9 percent in the previous general election, saw its vote share rise to 4.5 percent.

The Zafer Party's vote share was measured at 4.2 percent, while the TİP's vote share was measured at 2.6 percent.
