4 BUDO voyages cancelled
Due to the storm affecting the Sea of Marmara, some of the sea bus services operated by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality between the city and Istanbul have been cancelled.
According to the announcement on the Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) website, the 16:00 and 19:00 Bursa (Mudanya)-Istanbul (Eminönü/Sirkeci) voyages, as well as the 16:30 and 19:30 Istanbul (Eminönü/Sirkeci)-Bursa (Mudanya) voyages, have been cancelled.
AKOM ISSUES STATEMENT
In a warning issued by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), it was stated: "The precipitation, currently seen lightly across the province, is expected to intensify starting from the early hours of Saturday, accompanied by winds blowing intermittently as a storm (40-65 km/h) from the northerly directions (Poyraz)."
