7 million liters of sewage collected from the seas

The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has collected 7 million 10 thousand liters of sewage from boats since January 1, 2024.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues its waste collection service in the bays of Muğla with 8 specially designed waste collection vessels to ensure the seas remain cleaner. With the waste collection efforts carried out since the beginning of 2024, a total of 7 million 10 thousand 802 liters of sewage has been collected from boats, making a significant contribution to the protection of the seas.

In this region, which is very popular for maritime transport and boat tours, municipal teams continue their work with great diligence and continue to implement waste management at the highest level.
