Muğla Metropolitan Municipality collected 7 million liters of sewage from boats and yachts sailing in the seas and bays of Muğla in 2024 using 8 waste collection vessels.
Muğla, which has the longest coastline in Turkey with 1,480 kilometers and is the center of the 'Blue Cruise' with thousands of large and small bays visited by millions of domestic and foreign tourists every year, continues its efforts to keep the seas cleaner. The Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has collected 7 million 10 thousand liters of sewage from boats since January 1, 2024.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues its waste collection service in the bays of Muğla with 8 specially designed waste collection vessels to ensure the seas remain cleaner. With the waste collection efforts carried out since the beginning of 2024, a total of 7 million 10 thousand 802 liters of sewage has been collected from boats, making a significant contribution to the protection of the seas.

In this region, which is very popular for maritime transport and boat tours, municipal teams continue their work with great diligence and continue to implement waste management at the highest level.
