AKOM issues warning to Istanbul residents with specific timing: Rainfall to intensify
The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) has announced that the rainfall, which has been affecting certain parts of the city intermittently today, is expected to intensify and spread across the entire province in the coming hours.
AKOM, affiliated with the İBB, has reported that rainfall in Istanbul will increase in intensity.
According to the statement from AKOM, Şile, Pendik, and Tuzla began the day with thunderstorms.
The precipitation is expected to intensify in the coming hours, spread across the city, and continue to be strong at intervals until the evening.
The rainy weather is forecast to leave the region starting from midday tomorrow.
