Artvin-Erzurum highway closed due to landslide
The Artvin-Erzurum highway has been closed to traffic due to a landslide. Provincial Special Administration teams are continuing their efforts to reopen the road.
A landslide that occurred this morning near the Esenyaka village in the Yusufeli district of Artvin has caused the Artvin-Erzurum highway to close.
The landslide, which occurred following heavy rainfall, covered a large section of the road with soil and rock fragments.
Following the landslide, highway and Provincial Special Administration teams are continuing their efforts to reopen the road to traffic.
