According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the inland parts of the Central and Eastern Mediterranean, the coasts of the Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Sinop and Hatay, and the coastal districts of Kastamonu will experience local showers and thunderstorms. 

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Ordu, Giresun, the west of Trabzon, Artvin, Erzurum, Kars, and Ardahan, and locally very heavy in the surroundings of Rize and the east of Trabzon.
