According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in all regions except for the west of Marmara and the North Aegean coasts. The precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, locally heavy in the surroundings of Hakkari, thunderstorms in some places on the South Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and sleet and snow in the Taurus Mountains of the Mediterranean, the high inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, and the east of Eastern Anatolia. Icing and frost are expected in the east of Eastern Anatolia this morning and during the night. There is a risk of avalanches in sloping areas with high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in Eastern Anatolia.

It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperatures and that they will hover around seasonal norms across the country.

The wind is expected to blow from the north generally, and from the south in the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate, and strong with short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from the north and northeast in the southwest of Marmara and the North Aegean coasts.
