Teams are continuing their intervention in a fire that broke out in a wooded area in the Menteşe district of Muğla. It was reported that the fire started in the Yaraş neighborhood for a reason yet to be determined.
It was stated that the flames grew in a short time due to the wind effective in the region. Upon notification, teams affiliated with the Muğla Regional Directorate of Forestry were directed to the fire zone.
While the fire is being intervened with air and land vehicles, fire department teams are also supporting the extinguishing efforts. The teams' work on the field to bring the fire under control continues.
