Call for 'environmental projects' from the French Embassy in Turkey
The French Embassy in Turkey has launched its 5th Environmental Project Call, aimed at supporting Turkish non-governmental organizations operating in the field of environmental protection.
France and Costa Rica governments will jointly host the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice in June 2025; ahead of this event, this year's project call will place special emphasis on marine life in the Mediterranean.
Additionally, in solidarity with those affected by the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and its surrounding areas on February 6, 2023, projects addressing the environmental consequences of the disaster will also be considered.
The amount allocated for this year's project call is 50 thousand euros.
Projects related to the following topics will be considered in the environmental project call:
- Biodiversity and climate change;
- Protection and conservation of ecosystems;
- Restoration and regeneration of ecosystems;
- Invasive species;
- Combating pollution;
- Circular economy;
- Green cities;
- Challenges posed by pollution and climate change in terms of health, food, water, and migration;
- Greening the transport sector.
