Decision announced: Mining sites to be put up for tender
The General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources will put 545 mining sites up for tender. This decision has been published in the Official Gazette.
The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG) has announced that 545 mining sites will be put up for tender. The announcement regarding the matter has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the 545 mining sites will be announced on the website "https://www.mapeg.gov.tr/" for a period of at least 15 days starting from the publication date of the Official Gazette notice.
The tenders will be conducted through a closed-bid and open-auction procedure.
After applications are evaluated by MAPEG, if no applications are received for sites being tendered for the first time, those sites will be put up for tender again.
Applications with a closed bid lower than the base tender price determined by the General Directorate will not be taken into consideration.
Applications where the tender security amount is less than the base tender price determined by MAPEG and less than 20 percent of the closed bid submitted will also not be taken into consideration.
