Deposit return system has begun in 81 provinces: How to get 1 TL per package?
Under the DRS, those who return plastic, glass, and aluminum beverage containers will be paid an incentive of 1 TL per package.
Refund amounts can be accumulated in a digital wallet; if desired, they can be transferred to bank accounts or withdrawn as cash from ATMs.
With DOA, it is expected that approximately 25 billion packages will be recycled each year, providing an annual direct contribution of 30 billion TL to the economy.
The application aims to ensure that beverage packaging is taken to return points instead of being thrown in the trash and is included in the recycling process.
It is anticipated that users will be able to withdraw the amount accumulated in their accounts after a refund through contracted banks or use it for shopping.
Businesses participating in the system are planned to deliver the packaging they collect from consumers or consume themselves to field operators.
