Fog and blizzard impact Palandöken Pass
Heavy fog and a blizzard at the Palandöken Pass in Erzurum's Tekman district have left drivers in a difficult situation.
Erzurum-Tekman highway experienced heavy fog and a blizzard at an altitude of 2,885 meters.
In the region, where visibility dropped to as low as 20 meters, drivers experienced difficult moments from time to time.
While General Directorate of Highways teams worked in shifts due to the storm affecting the area, citizens stated that the tunnel planned for the region should be built as soon as possible.
