According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy in places, with precipitation expected in Marmara, the Aegean, the Western Black Sea, the western parts of the Mediterranean, the northwestern parts of Central Anatolia, and the surroundings of Hakkari; the precipitation, which is expected to be locally heavy in the northern parts of Thrace, the southern and western parts of Marmara, the eastern parts of Antalya, and the Aegean coasts, is estimated to be generally in the form of rain and showers, mixed rain and snow in the inner parts of Thrace with occasional snow, and light snow in the surroundings of Hakkari.

Icing and frost, along with mist and occasional fog, are expected in the inner and eastern parts of our country. There is an avalanche danger in the high parts of the inner Eastern Black Sea region and on the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures, which are currently above seasonal norms across the country, are expected to drop to around normal levels on the Marmara coasts and 1-3 degrees below normal in the inner parts of Marmara, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.
