According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the Aegean, Western Mediterranean, and the surroundings of Edirne, Çanakkale, Sakarya, Bilecik, and Eskişehir, and thundery showers expected in parts of the Coastal Aegean and Western Mediterranean coasts.

YELLOW ALERT FOR 3 CITIES

In the weather forecast report for December 7, the Meteorology office issued a yellow alert for Antalya, Aydın, and Muğla.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Southern Aegean coasts, the surroundings of Antalya, and the western districts of Çanakkale.

Temperatures across the country are expected to remain 2 to 4 degrees above seasonal norms.

MARMARA WEATHER

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers in the surroundings of Edirne, Çanakkale, Bilecik, and Sakarya starting from the night and tomorrow (Saturday) morning hours. The precipitation is expected to be heavy in the western districts of Çanakkale after noon tomorrow. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the eastern parts of the region during the night and morning hours.
