General Directorate of Meteorology announces: Air temperatures are rising across Turkey

Air temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees across Turkey.

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to mostly clear, with showers and occasional thunderstorms expected in the interior of the Mediterranean, the interior of the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions, Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Adana, Bartın, Kastamonu, Samsun, Diyarbakır, Batman, and Siirt.

It is expected to be partly to mostly clear.

MEDITERRANEAN

It is expected to be partly to mostly clear, with showers and thunderstorms in the interior and around Adana.

CENTRAL ANATOLIA

It is expected to be partly to mostly clear.

WESTERN BLACK SEA

It is expected to be partly to mostly clear, with the eastern parts becoming occasionally very cloudy; showers are expected in the east of Karabük after midday, and in the surroundings of Bartın and Kastamonu after nightfall.

CENTRAL AND EASTERN BLACK SEA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers in the interior and around Samsun.

EASTERN ANATOLIA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms across the region.

SOUTHEASTERN ANATOLIA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the surroundings of Diyarbakır, Batman, and Siirt.
