According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the east of the Marmara region, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the north and west of Eastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Balıkesir, Kütahya, Çankırı, Yozgat, and Sivas, the inner parts of Çanakkale, and the Taurus Mountains section of the Western Mediterranean.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, the coasts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the surroundings of Sinop, Artvin, and Ardahan, and the coastal parts of Kastamonu, and locally very heavy in the surroundings of Rize and the coastal parts of Artvin. Patchy fog and mist are expected in the Marmara, Inner Aegean, Western Black Sea, and the north of Central Anatolia during the morning and night hours.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 4 to 6 degrees in the northern, inner, and western parts of our country, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms in the east of the region, the surroundings of Balıkesir, and the inner parts of Çanakkale. Patchy fog and mist are expected in the west of the region during the morning and night hours.
