İSKİ announces the latest status of Istanbul's dams! What is the current occupancy rate?
İSKİ has announced the occupancy rates of the dams that supply water to Istanbul.
The rainfall that has been effective in Istanbul has increased the occupancy rates of the city's dams.
According to data shared by the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), the average occupancy rate of the dams meeting Istanbul's water needs rose to 51.4 percent as of this morning.
The occupancy rate, which had fallen to levels as low as 28.24 percent in November, has shown a significant increase following the rainfall.
Among the dams, the highest occupancy rate was recorded at the Istrancalar Dam with 96.99 percent, while the lowest rate was observed at the Alibey Dam with 38.36 percent.

According to İSKİ data, as of January 19, the dam occupancy rates in Istanbul are as follows:
- Alibey Dam 38.36 percent
- Büyükçekmece Dam 47.53 percent
- Darlık Dam 45.58 percent
- Elmalı Dam 83.4 percent
- Istrancalar Dam 96.99 percent
- Kazandere Dam 88.1 percent
- Pabuçdere Dam 49.84 percent
- Sazlıdere Dam 41.37 percent
- Terkos Dam 57.04 percent
- Ömerli Dam 53.47 percent
