Lake Van turns brown!
Following heavy rain and flooding in the Ahlat district of Bitlis, water pouring from stream beds has turned Lake Van brown.
Following a warning issued by the meteorological service, rain became effective in the Ahlat district.
Floodwaters resulting from the precipitation poured into Lake Van, particularly from the Çarho Stream.
After the floodwaters poured in along a 10-kilometer stretch on the Ahlat-Tatvan road, Lake Van turned brown, and the resulting scene was captured from the air.
