According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the eastern Marmara, Eastern Mediterranean (except Adana), Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. The precipitation, which is expected to be generally in the form of sleet and snow, and rain and downpours along the Mediterranean coast and in Southeastern Anatolia, is expected to be locally heavy in the west of Eastern Anatolia, the east of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Samsun, Sinop, Ordu, Giresun, Erzurum, Bitlis, Şırnak, and Hakkâri. Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours. There is an avalanche danger in the high parts of the inner Eastern Black Sea region and on the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to remain below seasonal norms.
