According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers in the east of Marmara, the coasts of the Black Sea, the Eastern Mediterranean, and Southeastern Anatolia, and sleet and snow in Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kütahya and Afyonkarahisar. Heavy and locally intense snowfall is expected in the high parts of the Western Black Sea, the east of Central Anatolia, the high parts of the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia, and the northern parts of Diyarbakır, Batman, and Siirt provinces.

Air temperatures, which are currently hovering around seasonal norms, are expected to drop significantly across the country, especially in the northern, inner, and eastern parts.

The wind is expected to blow from the north and west, and from the southwest in the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate, and strongly (40-60 km/h) in the north of Marmara, the southern Aegean coasts, and the Mediterranean.

YELLOW AND ORANGE CODE WARNING FOR 38 CITIES

In the MGM report, an orange code warning was issued for 12 provinces and a yellow code warning for 26 provinces.

MARMARA

It is estimated that it will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation in the east of the region.
