Here is the weather forecast for Monday, April 8, by province...
According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the weather today is partly to very cloudy across the country. Central and Eastern Mediterranean, the northeast of Central Anatolia, the Central and Eastern Black Sea (except Samsun), Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, the surroundings of Niğde and Karaman, and the southern districts of Ankara are experiencing showers and thunderstorms.
The rainfall is expected to be heavy in the surroundings of Osmaniye and the Gulf of İskenderun, as well as Bingöl, Bitlis, Şırnak, Hakkâri, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Batman, and Siirt. For this reason, citizens in these regions need to be careful and take precautions against flash floods, inundation, lightning, local hail, landslides and avalanche risks due to snowmelt on steep and sloping terrain, and disruptions in transportation.
