According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM); it is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation expected in the east of the Marmara region, the Eastern Mediterranean, the east of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Van), and Southeastern Anatolia.

Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of sleet and snow, rain and downpours in the coastal areas of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Yalova, Sinop, Iğdır, and Şırnak, and occasionally thundery downpours in the Eastern Mediterranean coasts and the south of Southeastern Anatolia. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the east of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Black Sea coasts, the west of Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as in the surroundings of Sakarya, Bolu, Niğde, Kayseri, Sivas, Karaman, Tokat, Gümüşhane, Bayburt, Erzurum, Muş, Bitlis, and Hakkari.

Icing and frost are expected in the inner and northern parts of the country.

Air temperatures are expected to drop significantly (by 5 to 15 degrees) in the Inner and Southern Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Central and Eastern Black Sea, and the west of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, remaining below seasonal norms.
