According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and thunderstorms expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia (except Sivas), and Western Black Sea regions, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy. Precipitation is expected to be heavy in the west of Marmara, the Aegean (except Kütahya), Western Mediterranean, and the surroundings of Mersin, and locally very heavy in the southern coasts of the Aegean and the surroundings of the Edremit Gulf. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours.

Air temperatures are expected to continue to hover above seasonal norms.

The wind is expected to blow generally from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and locally strong (40-60 km/h) along the Aegean coast and in the Mediterranean.

YELLOW CODE WARNING FOR 7 CITIES, ORANGE CODE FOR 1 CITY

In the MGM report, a yellow code warning was issued for Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Çanakkale, Denizli, İzmir, and Manisa, and an orange code warning for Muğla.
