According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent precipitation across the country. Precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and showers, and sleet and snow in the Thrace region, the Taurus Mountains section of the Western Mediterranean, the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be heavy in the Coastal Aegean, Istanbul, Bursa, Canakkale, Balikesir, Manisa, Usak, Denizli, Antalya, the south of Isparta, and the east of Burdur. The wind is expected to blow from southerly directions in the South and Inner Aegean, Western and Central Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and from northerly directions in Marmara, as a strong and short-term storm (40-70 km/h). Icing and frost are expected in the eastern regions during the morning and night hours. There is a risk of avalanches in the high, sloping areas with deep snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to increase by 2 to 4 degrees in the inner and southeastern parts, with no significant change expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to be generally light to occasionally moderate from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in Marmara, blowing as a strong and short-term storm (40-70 km/h) in the South and Inner Aegean, Western and Central Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Central and Eastern Black Sea, and Marmara.
