According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent sleet and snowfall expected in the east of Marmara, the east of Central Anatolia, the Western and Central Black Sea, the coasts of the Eastern Black Sea, the southwest of Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Eskişehir, Çankırı, Konya, Muş, and Bitlis.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of the Kastamonu coasts, Sinop, Samsun, Nevşehir, Niğde, Kayseri, and Mardin, as well as in the southern parts of Malatya and the northern parts of Adıyaman.

Icing and frost are expected in the interior and eastern parts during the morning and night hours, along with mist and occasional fog. There is a risk of avalanches on the high slopes of the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

No significant change is expected in temperatures, which are forecast to remain below seasonal norms across the country.

A yellow-coded warning has been issued for Adana, Adıyaman, Antalya, Bursa, Hatay, Mersin, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Malatya, Kahramanmaraş, Nevşehir, Niğde, Sakarya, Samsun, Sinop, Yozgat, Yalova, and Osmaniye.
