Precipitation warning from Meteorology for many cities: Heavy downpours and storms are coming!

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms expected in Thrace, the Mediterranean (excluding the inland parts of Kahramanmaraş and Hatay), Central Anatolia (excluding Sivas), the Black Sea (excluding Bayburt), the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia (excluding Erzurum and Ardahan), as well as the surroundings of Sakarya, Bilecik, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Muğla, Aydın, and Denizli, and the coastal parts of Hatay. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the inland parts of the Western Mediterranean, the Eastern Black Sea coast, the surroundings of Denizli, and the western parts of Konya.

No significant change in air temperature is expected.

The wind is expected to blow from the north, and from the south and southwest in the southeastern parts, as light to occasionally moderate, and as strong and locally short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from the north in the south of the Marmara region and the Aegean coast.

YELLOW ALERT FOR 5 CITIES

In the Meteorology report, a yellow alert was issued for Trabzon, Ordu, Rize, Giresun, and Artvin.

It is estimated to be partly to very cloudy, with local downpours and thunderstorms expected in Thrace and the surroundings of Sakarya and Bilecik. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the north in the south of the region.
