Rain and flood warning for 5 cities including Ankara
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for heavy rainfall and flood risks for five provinces, including Ankara and its surrounding areas. Citizens have been urged to exercise caution.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that the rainfall expected in the northwestern regions will be effective in the Western Black Sea, Sakarya, Bilecik, Eskişehir, and the northwestern parts of Ankara. The precipitation is estimated to continue from noon until midnight.
Citizens have been warned against adverse weather conditions such as floods, flash floods, lightning, local hail, landslides, and strong winds. The Meteorology office stated, "Rain and showers are expected in coastal areas, while thunderstorms are expected in inland areas. Disruptions in transportation may occur, so precautions should be taken."
HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED IN MUĞLA
A warning for locally heavy showers and thunderstorms has been issued for the Köyceğiz, Ula, Ortaca, and Marmaris districts of Muğla. Due to the rainfall expected to be effective within the next three hours, it was stated that caution should be exercised against negative consequences such as floods, flash floods, and strong winds.
The Meteorology office stated, "According to the latest assessments, heavy rainfall is expected in certain regions of Muğla. It is important for citizens to be careful and take precautions."
