Snow falls on Uludağ in May
As the summer season approaches in Turkey, snow has fallen in Uludağ, one of the country's major ski and winter tourism centers.
In Uludağ, the downpour that began at night gave way to snow in the morning hours as the air temperature dropped.
In the Hotels Zone, where the tourism season and accommodation facilities closed in March, a snowy surprise was experienced in May.
With the effect of the intermittent precipitation, the ski slopes and the summit of Uludağ were covered with a white blanket.
According to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the air temperature in Uludağ is expected to be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 degrees during the day.
It is estimated that sleet will be seen in the region during the night hours.
