According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy overall. Rain and showers are expected in the eastern Marmara region, the Black Sea region, the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Sivas and Çankırı and the northern parts of Ankara. Sleet and snowfall are expected in the higher elevations of the interior Black Sea region and the eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia. 

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy on the Black Sea coast. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in the interior Aegean, the south of Central Anatolia, and the interior parts of the Mediterranean. Light agricultural frost is expected in some interior areas during the morning and night hours.
