Statement from Meteorology on 'nitrogen dioxide gas'
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a statement regarding reports of a "nitrogen dioxide gas warning," stating, "We have no such warning on this matter."
The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that it has not issued any warning regarding the impact of nitrogen dioxide gas in the central and western parts of the country.
The following statement was shared on the General Directorate's social media account:
"In a report published by some media outlets, it was claimed that the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's General Directorate of Meteorology had issued a warning on its website stating that nitrogen dioxide gas would be effective in the central and western parts of our country and would cause a foul odor. As the General Directorate of Meteorology, we have no such warning on this matter."
