According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the northern and eastern parts of the Marmara region, the north of Balıkesir, the north and east of Çanakkale, the Western Black Sea region in general (except Sinop), the Eastern Black Sea coast, the Taurus Mountains area of the Eastern Mediterranean, and the eastern surroundings of Ordu, Artvin, Tokat, and Samsun, while other places are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.
