According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern parts of the country are expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected in the west of the Marmara region in the afternoon and evening, and across the entire Marmara region and the North Aegean at night, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Thrace region in the evening, and in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, and Yalova, as well as the northern districts of Balıkesir, at night. Patchy fog and mist are expected in the inland parts of the Black Sea region in the morning hours.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to occasionally very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the west in the afternoon and evening, and across the entire region at night. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the Thrace region in the evening, and in the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, and Yalova, as well as the northern districts of Balıkesir, at night. Patchy fog and mist are expected in some areas in the morning. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in the west of the region starting from the evening hours.
