Arin Lake, located within the borders of the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis and known as a 'bird paradise,' has revealed harbor ruins due to the drop in water levels caused by the effects of climate change and drought.

Arin Lake is known for hosting dozens of different bird species and for its impressive nature. However, the decrease in water levels due to the effects of climate change and drought has caused harbor ruins in the lake to come to light. The steady decline in the lake's water level is worrying the local residents.

Local resident Ünal Emen emphasized that Arin Lake is a bird paradise, stating, "Approximately 200 different bird species live in this region. Unfortunately, our lake is shrinking a little more every day due to climate change and drought. With the receding water, harbor ruins have also emerged in the lake."
