According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Western and Central Black Sea regions, and the coasts of the Eastern Black Sea. Precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, with localized thunderstorms on the coasts of the Aegean and Western Mediterranean, and a mix of sleet and snow in the southeast of Marmara, the interior of the Western Black Sea, and in the interior regions after evening hours.

Precipitation is expected to be heavy in Marmara, Northern and Coastal Aegean, Central and Eastern Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, and the Western and Central Black Sea, and very heavy and locally severe in the surrounding areas of Kocaeli, Sakarya, Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, and the eastern parts of Antalya. The wind is expected to blow from northerly directions in Marmara, the Western Black Sea, Northern Aegean, Central Anatolia, and the interior of the Mediterranean, with strong winds and localized storms (50-80 km/h).

AIR TEMPERATURES WILL DROP

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 3 to 5 degrees in the western parts, increase by 2 to 4 degrees in the eastern parts, and remain largely unchanged elsewhere. The wind is expected to be light to occasionally moderate from southerly directions, and strong with localized storms (50-80 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara, the Western Black Sea, Northern Aegean, Central Anatolia, and the interior of the Mediterranean.
