According to the latest forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, northern parts of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, the northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Artvin, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Siirt, and Adıyaman.

The precipitation, which will generally be in the form of rain and showers, thunderstorms on the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and sleet and occasional snow in the high parts of Central and Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be locally heavy (21-50 kg/m2) in Edirne, Çanakkale, the western parts of Balıkesir, İzmir, Manisa, and Aydın, as well as the western parts of Muğla, and locally very heavy and severe in the center and eastern parts of Muğla.

Icing and frost are expected in the inner and eastern parts of our country, along with haze and occasional fog.

Temperatures across the country are expected to remain around seasonal norms.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent rain and showers across the region. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Edirne and Çanakkale, and in the western parts of Balıkesir. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the eastern parts of the region during the night and morning hours.
